Adruce Aazman is on a mission. His has a key role in the modernization of the historic Pan Borneo Highway, a 1300km system linking the two Malaysian states with regions of Indonesia (and the island of Borneo). Adruce is responsible for the controls and monitoring of BIM and digital project management systems for this massive project.

We met him at the 2017 Year in Infrastructure event in Singapore where he was researching everything from BIM to mobile mapping to smart paving solutions. Impressive is his eagerness to implement modern solutions to improve engineering and construction efficiencies for the project.

Adruce studied civil engineering at the University of Malaysia and has worked on major electrical transmission projects for oil and energy facilities. Among his other interests is his volunteer work dedicated to preserving the musical heritage and culture of the indigenous tribes of the local area, including arranging fusions of tribal and contemporary music.
