Pelletier is a geomorphologist with a strong background in GIS/geomatics. Her various professional expertise has allowed her to obtain in-depth knowledge of all geomatics processing deliverables related to lidar data and aerial imagery.

In 2016, she founded one of the first companies in Canada specializing in UAV-based lidar data acquisition. In parallel, she has been working on an R&D project for the past eight years with a team of experts in electronic, mechanical, and software development to build the world’s first modular lidar.

In 2021, she founded Balko Technologies, the first manufacturing company in Canada to develop and resell a modular drone lidar.
